Vision of Tsidkenu Bible School

Over the past several years, Church Tsidkenu has grown from a single local church in San Diego into an expanding network that now includes two churches, multiple Fire Academies, and missionaries serving around the world. Throughout this growth, we have consistently required formal biblical education as a prerequisite for certain areas of full-time ministry and ordination.

Out of prayer and vision, the Lord led us to establish a Bible School program specifically designed for Fire Academy alumni. This program provides the biblical and theological training necessary for pastoral and teaching ministry, while continuing to build upon the character formation and hands-on ministry foundation emphasized in Fire Academy. That vision is now a reality.

This training is primarily intended for Fire Academy alumni pursuing full-time ministry—especially within Church Tsidkenu or Fire Academy ministries. However, the coursework is also open to those seeking a deeper understanding of Scripture and further growth in practical ministry.

Graduating from the Tsidkenu Fire Academy is a prerequisite for enrollment in this school.

Classes Offered This Semester

This semester, starting February 9th, 2026, we are launching three fully online courses. Each Course is 16 weeks long.

  • Church History I

  • Church History II

  • Ecclesiology (the study of the Church, including church ministry, governance, and church planting)

All academic classes are conducted entirely online and require approximately 5-7 hours of study per week, with no in-person attendance or commuting.

Practical Ministry Components

In addition to academic coursework, students can sign up for required hands-on ministry rotations. Rotations are 16 weeks long. Students participating in hands-on training must be actively involved in a Church Tsidkenu campus or currently serving on the mission field in some capacity.

Outreach Rotation
Students must complete and document 16 weeks of outreach, upload reports to the online portal, and engage in discussion with fellow students across the country. Aside from the outreach itself, this rotation requires minimal additional time beyond the outreach itself.

Altar Rotation
This rotation focuses on altar ministry during church services, including praying for healing and deliverance. Students upload reflections and experiences to the portal and interact with others in the program. Time requirements are minimal beyond the ministry activity itself.
