Join the TK Family Class: Every Sunday directly after morning service from 12:30pm-12:50pm. Snacks Provide
If you feel called to join the TK Family we invite you to get involved and find your place in the body of Christ where you can effectively serve and bless others! We believe serving each other by ministering our gifts to one another is a vital part of our individual growth as well as our corporate growth.
Ephesians 4:16 “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”
1 Peter 4:10 “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
Being committed to serving others builds the character traits of a great leader in you and gives the Lord an opportunity to refine and equip you to be the person he wants you to be and fulfill the calling He has on your life. Although we stress activating the gifts of the Holy Spirit at TK and learning to move in the power of God through ministering deliverance and healing, we also equally stress the importance of building good character through serving others with humility and love. Many of us have amazing gifts to help us to our calling, but not the character to sustain us when we get there! Serving others rids you of selfishness and pride, and teaches you to work with a team, submitting to one another in love and humility.
Jesus not only taught the disciples how to move in God’s power but also how to humble themselves and serve one another. He washed their feet as an example for them to do the same to each other. As we are first faithful with the small responsibilities He gives us, the Lord can entrust us with more!
Mathew 25:23- His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Galatians 6:10- Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
We have several different teams at TK that need to operate efficiently in order for the body as a whole to be blessed and grow together! We encourage everyone in the TK Family to join one of our teams to serve with their brothers and sisters. It’s an important step in your personal growth with the Lord and will allow you to get to know people more and build a support system in your life of those who know and love you.

Ultimately, as the whole body learns to give of their gifts and time to bless one another, it helps the church create a family that is bonded together through loving and serving one another. This is God’s will for us! To be a family where we support and love each other and walk together through hard times and good times! To be UNIFIED with one heart and soul in love and service to one another. When you serve on a team at TK you begin to truly feel a part of the family by getting to know other brothers and sisters in a deeper way by serving alongside them with the same goal and purpose.
